License to Wed

Signing the license. Don't know what that shadow was...Putting the ring on my finger. Looking into my eyes...doesn't get any better than that. Well... Making it official...
Posing with the judge. Loved the glasses. :-)
He's lecturing us about being good spouses for one another. To bad he then gave me an out...He said if Antonio ever went back on his word, I could come back with my signed marriage license as proof that he had promised to be nice to me. :-) Just kidding. The guy was a "trip" though, entertaining....

I now pronounce you...

Celebrating after the ceremony.
I now pronounce you...
...husband and wife!
Awwww :-)

Wedding Ceremony

Mom talks with the two of us before the ceremony. At this point, I think she's just trying to calm me down. The justice of the peace got the time wrong!! Or "actually", his secretary mistakenly told him a half hour later than the time we were scheduled. Nothing like having the celebrant late for the ceremony. We waited outside in the heat for 10 minutes before I was "sent" to the car. Luckily I sat with Lisa and Julie and they were the voices of reason until the guy showed up. My sisters kept me calm and reasonable until we were ready to go in for the ceremony. My mom was right in thinking I was getting nervous being up in front of everyone while we waited for the justice to come back in the room. So, she just came up and began talking to us about random things. It kept me calm. Soon it was time to begin.

Our first kiss as husband and wife.

LIFE

I know, I know it's been awhile. Life....just happens sometimes. Which is how I now have time to post...My grandmother is having surgery this morning in NY. My mom and I flew into Buffalo, NY yesterday. As I am waiting to hear an update, I needed something to do, so I'm spending some time on the computer, uploading photos, etc. Let's hope I can remotely access everything I need. Nervous energy, I guess. I have to be doing something.

Here's a bunch of some really weird people that happened to show up at our wedding. All of whom I am related to in some shape or form. Scary, huh? Enjoy!

Lisa, bride's sister, AKA Fish Face

David, bride's brother-in-law, AKA Scary Marine Boy

Larry, bride's one and only brother, AKA Nobody breathe, someone just let one.

Becca, groom's daughter, AKA Bullwinkle Brown Sugar

T.J., groom's son, AKA Monkey Boy

Janelle, groom's niece, AKA Lizard Lady

Hunter, groom's nephew, AKA Little Man (Don't mess with me, I'm wearing a tie...)

Cameron, groom's niece, AKA Baby Blossom

Margaret, bride, AKA Black-tongued Blonde (a story for another time....)

Antonio, groom, AKA Goofy Groom (Trust me, if he knew I was posting this, I would be in sooooooo much trouble - I'll never get a good picture again. :-) Actually, I can't believe I got this one!)
Update - Sorry, honey, it's not letting me delete this. I'll have to look at it at home when I can delete the whole posting. I tried. :-)
What a goofy group! Hey, we all have to let off stress somehow! This was a lot of fun!

Friday, August 3rd - THE DAY BEFORE

Amy does such a nice job!

Becca and I took the afternoon and went to get our nails done. See how pampered and pretty we look. :-)

Julie and Becca enjoying pizza on the back porch after nails.

Mary and I setting up the table. Can you tell who is who? Decorating is so much fun.
